CIS privilege

I don’t care, i’m reposting this for a second time.

Everyone has their struggles. Women have been oppressed for thousands of years. Part of the reason that there is so much discrimination against the trans* community is because there is still so much traditional sexism. Only when the genders are considered equal can those who cross boundaries be considered equal as well. Cis individuals are privileged in some ways, but some more than others, and it really varies. And yes, in some ways it is more difficult to be a cis woman than to be something else that at least has some male aspect to it, but that greatly depends on individual circumstance. Is it really fair to compare hardships? In the end, sexism is what we’re all fighting against. Let’s fight it together.

Please inform me of how female-bodied women are privileged, I am seriously interested.

I’m simply speaking in comparison. The US has more laws protecting women from discrimination than trans* people. Of course the oppression is still there and it’s awful, but the discrimination that women face in modern-day society is more subtle than that of trans* people. Does that make it right, or even better? Of course not. But where I live, I am in more fear of those around me as a non-cis person than as a woman. I don’t fear having my life threatened simply because I am female, because despite how discriminated against women are, a ciswoman is considered natural and normal. But it doesn’t matter. I’m not here to compare. That’s my point! I don’t think we should be comparing at all, because the issue here is sexism, and that affects us all. I’m not debating that women have it hard and have been oppressed. I know from personal experience just how hard it is to be a woman, and how unprivileged women are. It’s terrible and it needs to come to an end. I’m just saying that there is no point in ciswomen and trans* people fighting about this, because the elimination of sexism will help us all.

Females don’t have privilege for being female. Trans womens main arguement involves opression olmypics. (we get raped and killed more). The problem is males.Insecure males are the ones oppressing killing and raping transwomen and females. This is male privilege not female privilege
